Angelcat Haven is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing the homeless and stray cats in Plainville and surrounding towns in need of a HAVEN while waiting for their loving new homes.

How we became a foster home based rescue.

This organization - formed out of necessity to help save a 4-month old stray kitten, named Maddie, which no other shelter wanted to try to save. With a wound of an unknown origin, requiring a 6-month quarantine, and a broken leg, we fought for 5 days to save her and could not. Her wounds were too extensive for her little body to handle. Although she was small, she had a huge impact on our lives - she is our Angelcat.

We are here to try to help the kitties that fall through the cracks of the existing shelters that just don't have the room. Our mission is to work on reducing overpopulation through education, reduced cost spay-neuter programs, and community trap and rescue programs. We put every effort, where possible, to work with and socialize the strays and ferals so that they can live out their lives in a warm, loving new home.
